Guide to Using the Website

The Maryland Military Community Compatibilit​y website is intended to provide knowledge, tools, and resources to guide compatible community development in support of military operations throughout the state that are sustainable, resilient, and operational.


The intended audiences are:

  • State and local leaders, including city, county, and regional planners and other staff,
  • Military communities and members, including civilian and military leadership, and
  • The general public and community organizations.

The website is organized in a manner that will help users easily find the information they need using major tabs for each level of government (federal, state, and local) involved in planning activities that may impact military installations. Other tabs detail the locations, missions, and other information for each of the military installations in the state highlighted in this website, as well as the locations of other installations, including Army Reserve and Maryland National Guard facilities.

Help Stop Fraud in State Government

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources. Information reported to the hotline in the past has helped to eliminate certain fraudulent activities and protect State resources.
